On May 26th come to the Gowanus Print Lab in Brooklyn NY; there will be Mono Mono inspired artwork, snacks, drinks, music, a raffle and more! Items (including artwork and a limited edition tee) will be available for purchase with a portion of the events proceeds being donated to the Art Start www.art-start.org
With a great charity such as Art Start, Mono Mono wants to pay it forward, so don’t miss out on the opportunity to support the brand and the cause. It shall be a night to remember.

After lots of hard work, Mono Mono is finally starting to make a name for itself, so let's keep the ball rolling! Calling on all artists to participate in a Mono Mono Gallery Event "Celebrate Life Through Art." We're taking a normal night and celebrating life, art, and Mono Mono's love for both!
We've linked up with an amazing charity called Art Start and will be donating a portion of our proceeds. Visit their site www.art-start.org and check out their amazing cause!

Here's what we're looking for in terms of artwork...
• Create a piece that joins your personal artistic style with Mono Mono's
• Mono Mono Character or logo etc. must be present in some form but doesn't have to be the full focus of the piece
• Include high contrast colors in pieces... anywhere from plain black and white to neon (think pop art)
• Think outside the box when it comes to medium (toys, skate decks, sculpture, graffiti, etc. again be creative)
• Sense of humor encouraged (no severely violent imagery)
It's your chance to show what you got and get some exposure!
** All pieces must be submitted and approved, sketch and/or idea with medium and dimensions included. Send all ideas to events@mymonomono.com ..... Call for participants ends March 5, 2012.
Interested in being involved, but not exactly an artist (own a bakery or dj etc..)? Email us at events@mymonomono.com with what aspect of the event you would like to contribute to!
The art is a very important part of the night, but there will be lots more! Everything from food, drinks, limited edition tees, music, giveaways and more. It's going to be a night to remember!
